Open Swim

"Leave the door open for the unknown, the door into the dark. That’s where the most important things come from, where you yourself came from, and where you will go."

Nourish Your Creative Independence

Saturday, October 28, 2017
10:00am – 12:30pm
Silverlake — The Loft

For those who prefer working in a smaller group Open Swim offers a supportive and structured space in which to nourish your own creative practice. There will be a guided drop in, including work with the body and breath to relax the central nervous system, make room to release habitual patterns and make contact with the unconscious. The space will then be held for you to explore artwork, active imagination and work privately with your creative material.  Prompts and guidance will be available as much — or as little — as you desire. Different themes and tools will be explored each month. Limited to an intimate group of 9 practitioners.

Class is led by Amanda Lovejoy Street.

Open to artists of all disciplines.

Tuition for class is $75 with one free spot each month drawn from a lottery. Please email Tori to have your named entered to the lottery.

Sliding scale / financial aid is available.
Please ask.

(Street parking available)

Class size is limited due to the nature of the work. If you click the above link and find that it’s already filled, please email Tori to join the waitlist. You will receive notice if a spot opens. Refunds will be available if someone from the wait list is able to take your place. Our wait list is released 48 hours before class. You are responsible for your tuition after this time.
