For those who prefer working in a smaller group — The Loft Sessions offer a grounded space to experiment with different ways to make contact with the unconscious and rouse your soul. The sessions will begin with opening the body, voice and imagination followed by a guided drop in. Each month, the Loft Sessions will hone in on a different facet of dream work such as contending with the inner critic, shadow work, artistic mentor and dream repetition. Guidance will be available as much- or as little- as you desire.
This January class will explore the Inner Critic. As artists it is essential that we are available to the creative source and our impulses. One of the ways that this channel might get obstructed is by the activation of an Inner Critic. In this class, we will explore shedding light on this energy that many of us contend with. How might we bring consciousness to the symptoms that arise when we are hijacked by this force and how might we unearth the tools that will allow us to approach it with strength and self compassion. Within the safe container, we will utilize writing, mat work, guided exploration and art work to unearth support in relating to this force in a healthy and healing way.
Limited to an intimate group of 7 practitioners.
Class is led by Amanda Lovejoy Street.
Tuition for class is $90.
