The Loft Sessions — Meeting the Dream

The most important part of your equipment is yourself: your mobile body, your imaginative mind, and your freedom to use both. Make sure you do use them.

The Loft Sessions: Meeting the Dream
with
Amanda Lovejoy Street

Open and explore.

Wednesday, February 19
7:00pm – 10:00pm
East Side Los Angeles / Frogtown

The Loft Sessions offer a grounded space to experiment with different ways to make contact with the unconscious and rouse your soul. The sessions will begin with opening the body, voice and imagination followed by a guided drop in. Each month, the Loft Sessions will hone in on a different facet of dream work such as contending with the inner critic, shadow work, artistic mentor and dream repetition. Guidance will be available as much—or as little—as you desire.

For February's class we will work on a dream. Through opening the body and slowing down the central nervous system, we will make contact with the unconscious. While dropped in, we will explore dream material through sensory exploration, breath, gesture, voice and embodied imagination. When we resurface to the topside world, there will be time to work with the dream material through writing and with art supplies. Before we close, we will gather as a group and explore the dream material as a collective and seek to touch upon where each of our dreams want to go.

Limited to an intimate group of 12 practitioners.

Class is led by Amanda Lovejoy Street.

Tuition for class is $100.

Financial aid is available.
